01. Applied Accessibility Standards
HSO strives to maintain the Site and its digital platforms in substantial conformity with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA, and progressively reviews emerging WCAG 2.2 criteria and applicable best practices under ADA Title III where relevant. This statement is not an absolute guarantee that no barriers exist, but rather an ongoing commitment to improvement, monitoring and reasonable remediation. The criteria considered include, but are not limited to:
- Sufficient color contrast between text and background (minimum ratio of 4.5:1 for normal text and 3:1 for large text).
- Navigation fully operable by keyboard, without depending exclusively on the mouse.
- Appropriate semantic labels and a clear, hierarchical heading structure.
- Descriptive alternative text for all informative images and graphics, including those on the trading platform.
- Compatibility with major screen readers (JAWS, NVDA, VoiceOver) and other assistive technologies.
- Subtitles or transcripts in multimedia content, where present.
- Identification and correction of errors in forms, with clear help messages.
02. Compliance Measures and Continuous Monitoring
To ensure the maintenance of the accessibility level, we carry out:
- Periodic accessibility audits, combining automated evaluation tools and manual review by internal and external experts.
- Early integration of accessibility (shift-left): we incorporate accessibility requirements from the design and development phase of each new digital component, rather than correcting problems afterwards.
- Open feedback channel: we encourage users to report any accessibility barriers they encounter, so that we can resolve them as a priority.
03. Compatible Technologies
The Site is compatible with major web browsers in their current versions and with the most widespread assistive technologies. If a user experiences access difficulties due to their specific hardware or software configuration, we urge them to inform us so that we can seek a personalized solution.
04. Request for Reasonable Accommodations
If you need additional assistance to access any content or functionality of the Site, or wish to request information in a reasonably available alternative format, you may contact our Accessibility Coordinator. HSO will evaluate each request in good faith and will endeavor to respond within a reasonable timeframe, subject to the complexity of the request, technical availability and operational capacity.
